Writing
I try to write for readers on both sides of the build/govern divide. This page collects my public writing as it becomes available — it’s a work in progress, so check back.
In the pipeline
- A policy paper with researchers at OpenAI on global frameworks for advanced AI access and compute governance.
- A NeurIPS workshop submission from my GovAI summer fellowship, on how reliably auditor models detect misaligned behavior as interaction horizons lengthen.
- My Yale thesis on AI-enabled information manipulation, using multilingual NLP to identify coordinated inauthentic behavior in the Taiwan Strait.
Editing
As Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal of International Affairs, I spend a good part of my week on other people’s writing too.
